What's in it for you
This 3 months non- paid summer internship prepares your for a career in corporate and graphic design. The program provides an overview of the design process and its supporting components. Through an individualized case study project, you will develop your skills to design a product line, analyze our business, identify a market opportunity for BC, develop a business plan with your team and present your plan to the BC.
Program Structure
Hands-on and classroom learning with the design staff and an area mentor. Cross-functional departmental exposure including merchandising and marketing. Interaction with subject matter experts to grain greater insight into the multitude of career options at BC. Individualized case study project and presentation.
What you have the opportunity to do:
Work with our design staff and design a product line geared toward fulfilling a market opportunity for BC. Gain exposure to marketing team functions, fashion offices and the competitive design experience. Enhance your understanding of coordination between functional areas to deliver the best business results. Build relationships with BCs executives and enhance your presentation skills. Become involved in the company's community initiatives.
What to present for an internship
Junior or senior status Completed coursework in graphic design An organized and detailed design portfolio Prior internship experience in design or technical design Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator, Indesign.
